Return and Refund Policy

Products will be built as listed in the quote. The customer is responsible to confirm all measurements and details listed on the quote. 

Payment Terms: A deposit is required with your signed quote, balance due prior to shipping. 

Additions/Deductions, tax and shipping costs are NOT discounted. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be added to all balances over 30 days. 

Acceptance of Order: All orders and contracts are subject to acceptance of our home office and contingent upon fires, strikes, accidents, or other causes unavoidable or beyond our control. 

Order Procedure: This quote becomes an order if the quote is returned signed and/or a purchase order is received, with the required deposit. After receipt of order customer will receive a confirmation. 

Delivery: “Ship Date” is the approximate date an order will leave our facility, NOT the date the customer will receive it. Delivery dates contingent upon material suppliers’ ability to supply materials to us. We are not responsible for delays in transit and our terms are not affected by such delays. Vixen Hill will not be responsible for any charges incurred due to a late shipment, and we strongly recommend that you (the customer) do not schedule any installations services until you have received notice that your order has shipped. 

Freight Shipments: The driver is not required to unload the truck. - Damage Shipments: If shipment is damaged in transit and so received or arrives incomplete, you are responsible for securing the proper notation of such damage or shortage from your local freight agent. The condition of carton does not necessarily reflect the condition of contents. You must inspect the contents of open or damaged boxes and obtain return authorization from Vixen Hill. We must be notified within two business days so we can make claim for loss to freight company. Once we are so notified we stand ready to make an immediate replacement shipment or reimburse for on-site repairs, depending on the severity of the damage. Otherwise, we cannot be responsible. This policy must be adhered to strictly. No goods may be returned without written consent. 

 Separate Shipments: If not possible to ship orders complete in one shipment, we reserve the right to make several shipments of incomplete units until order is complete, unless otherwise stated in the order. 

Customer Request To Delay Shipment: To delay the shipment of the order, we require notification in writing at least 14 days prior to the agreed upon ship week. A failure to do so will result in a storage fee of $50 per day (starting 5 days from scheduled ship date), and the balance payment will still be required at the time of the original ship week. 

Re-consignment Charges: Should the shipment have to be rerouted and shipped to a different location, other than the one given prior to the ship date, than all fees and additional charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

 Custom Orders: A part from hardware, all Vixen Hill Products are custom-built to your design and specification requirements, which you confirmed per your signed quote. Therefore products CAN NOT be returned and orders cannot be canceled. Wood is a natural material, and our products are handmade, therefore there will be some minor variations in the dimensions between the actual shutter and the quote/tech drawings. 

Hardware: Shutter hardware may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund, excluding shipping. All returned products must be in new, resalable condition and packaged in the original carton and packing materials. *A 25% restocking fee will apply to returns* 

Errors and Price Changes: Clerical errors are subject to correction. Prices are subject to change without notice. The right is reserved to make such change both in design and specification of certain items of our products, as in our opinion, will improve them. 

Title reserved: Title to said property shall remain in the seller until full performance of this contract and until all sums which are now to hereafter due to Seller shall be fully paid. All sales deemed to have been made in Pennsylvania and governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

Installation: All goods are shipped for installation by the buyer. Vixen Hill Manufacturing Company assumes no responsibility for goods assembled or installed by the customer. Customer agrees to hold Vixen Hill Manufacturing Company free of all liability for improper maintenance and repair of equipment by owner or customer. 

Product Warranty: Vixen Hill Products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three years from date of manufacture, as stated in our warranty.
