Every Vixen Hill shutter is built to order for your exact window, so shutters and hardware have different return rules. This page sums up the return, cancellation and delivery terms from our full Terms and Conditions.

Shutters

Shutters can’t be returned for any reason, because each pair is custom made.

Hardware

• All hardware returns must be approved in advance and given a return authorization number by Vixen Hill Home Products. To arrange a return, call (610) 286-0909.
• Hardware must come back within 30 days of receipt, in its original new, resaleable condition, packed in the original carton and packing materials.
• Accepted returns are refunded for the price of the hardware, less a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refunded.
• Custom or discontinued hardware can’t be returned.

Cancellations and changes

• Because every order is made for you, an order can’t be canceled once we’ve received it.
• We can’t accept size or style changes after you approve and submit an order. If we accept a change order, it’s billed based on the scope of the change and needs approval first.
• If we approve a cancellation, a 10% processing fee is kept from the amount paid.

Deliveries and damage

• Orders ship from Elverson, Pennsylvania. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier at our facility.
• Common carrier deliveries are curbside only. Inside delivery may be available for an extra charge if arranged in advance.
• Open and inspect the entire shipment as soon as it arrives, even if you’re installing later. If you see damage while unloading, note it on the bill of lading (delivery receipt).
• We can’t accept claims for concealed damage found more than 3 days after delivery.
• Keep all original packaging, including crates and skids, until you’ve inspected and accepted the order. If shutters have to come back and the packaging is gone, you’ll be charged for replacement packaging.
• Deliveries can’t be refused. If a shipment is refused, rejected or can’t be delivered, you’re responsible for the resulting charges, such as return freight, redelivery, storage and handling.
